i am a photographer and musician based in aberdeen in the north-east of scotland.

i work full-time as a portrait photographer for a well known portraiture company and this site is designed primarily as a showcase for my personal projects and interests. i'm one of those people that gets perverse pleasure from traipsing round Scotland in all weather taking pictures of the lovely spaces which we're lucky enough to have round this part of the world but i also like being stuck in dark dingy pubs nodding to bands most people haven't heard of pretending like they're actually going to be the next big thing one day. i then post the pictures up here in the vain hope that someone might care about them. still, got to have a hobby right?

i also play guitar in a group called kartta and you can listen to some of our songs on our myspace page, a link to which appears on the main page of this site.

i'm 27 years old and spend too much time playing computer games and looking at things i shouldn't on the internet when i could be spending time with my fiance, but she forgives me.
